What is Ecchi?
Ecchi is a word that describes when something is portrayed as "sexy" in anime. Ecchi is everywhere in anime; often times you'll see insanely hot female characters, panty shots, and things of that nature. They are all considered ecchi. Ecchi is not to be confused with hentai, which is also anime, but it contains actual characters having sex. Think along the lines where ecchi is Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue while hentai is hardcore porn.
Viewing Warning
At the top of this page you will see a type of ecchi you can expect in the galleries below. The ecchi galleries do contain some nudity so please be warned before viewing it. Ecchi can be considered taboo to society, so don't be surprised if people question why you're looking at "cartoon characters." The images I host are not work or school appropriate.
