First
Time! Crazy, Insane Steam Engine Train Trip.
|
Kenshin,
Kaoru, Yahiko, and Sano find themselves arriving a
little late for their train. The steam train is just
about to leave from Tokyo to Yokohama. Sano didn't
want to come along originally and he even tries to
sneak off, but Kaoru forces him to stay, since she
had to pay for the tickets. As the train departs,
Sano begins growing fearful. He has no idea how such
a large piece of iron can move so easily, thus, starting
up an argument between himself and Kaoru. Before the
argument gets deep, Yahiko gets out of his seat and
heads off to see the engine room.
|
|
|
|
Is
this the end of Yahiko? I doubt it.
|
Yahiko is denied access
to see the engine room by the conductor and is told
to go back to his seat. Yahiko walks away, but as he
leaves, he looks inside a room to find the real train
conductor tied up and knocked out. The impostor conductor
tells the crew shoveling coal to stop the train at the
request of a first class passenger. The shoveling crew
seems a bit confused and that's when Yahiko reveals
that the conductor is a farce. Angered that his identity
was discovered, the man draws a short sword. He and
Yahiko collide, short sword and shinai, but it is Yahiko
who ends up being held by his shirt collar over the
moving train. The man demands the crew to listen to
him, otherwise, Yahiko will fall to a certain fate.
Enter Kenshin. |
|
|
|
Living
on the edge, literally.
|
Fearing
that his scheme will be ruined, the man tosses Yahiko
into Kenshin and runs to the top of the train. Kenshin
follows him while Yahiko runs off to get Sano. Once
Kenshin had caught up to the man, unexpectedly, Yahiko
and another man, armed with a gun, boarded the top.
Kenshin was warned not to draw his sword, otherwise
Yahiko may get shot. The man who had previously ran
away took advantage of the situation and threw a couple
punches at Kenshin, forcing him off the edge of the
train. With Kenshin gone and in the water, which lied
on both sides of the train's path, the men prepared
to accomplish their plan - to steal all of the Englishman's
money he has loaded on the train. In due time, Yahiko
broke free from their grasp to warn Kaoru and Sano.
|
|
|
|
Another
grand entrance for Kenshin.
|
Just as the men invaded
the Englishman's room and disconnected the trains, Yahiko,
Kaoru, and Sano made it just in time to save the day.
Sano held the chain, which kept the trains connected,
but pirates quickly began to come from the sea and invade
the train once it was forcefully stopped. A barrier
of logs was in its way. A whole lot of fighting went
on when Kenshin returned on horseback. It was unknown
where he found the horse, but Kenshin took out almost
all of the pirates, while his friends eliminated the
thieves, including the pirates. Finally, Kenshin used
his Ryu Tsui Sen to eliminate the barrier of logs, allowing
the train to progress to Yokohama. There was no way
the two thieves and pirates could catch up with the
steam train. |
|
All
thanks to the Kenshin Gumi, the day was saved. Once
they had stopped at Yokohama, the Englishman was so
grateful to them that he rewarded Kaoru with a gold
coin. Kaoru had no idea what to do with so much money.
Yahiko would have accepted it if she wouldn't use
it, but then, Kaoru had an idea. She wanted to take
a picture of them at their location. Sano had not
only feared the steam train, but he also feared cameras
too. He heard rumors that the camera takes your soul
when you get your picture taken. Even with such a
tall tale, Sano was forced to take the picture anyway.
