Cold
Blooded Samurai! Battle with Juppon Gatana Chou!
|
|
|
Kenshin
schools Chou even without a weapon.
|
Kenshin
states that he has not come for the sword or a fight,
but to save Iori. Chou really doesn't want to fight
either, but if he doesn't kill the Battousai, then
Shishio will be angry. Iori is thrown up in a tree
where he hangs as Chou draws one of his many katanas.
Kenshin remains unarmed and dodges Chou's attempt
at a Gatotsu. With his sheath, Kenshin sends Chou
flying a few feet away. Chou changes weapons, bringing
out two curved swords that were made by Shatku called
the Renbatoya. Even with the weapon change, Kenshin
still manages to dodge and even breaks the pair
of swords with only his sheath. That was just the
beginning of the battle, the two combatants have
only just warmed up.

What
kind of sword is this last masterpiece?
|
Misao, Jiya, Seiku,
and Asuka arrive on the scene and watch as Chou takes
out his best sword, the Hakujin no Tachi. The sword
was actually worn around Chou's stomach; it's a flimsy
and can hit anything, even when the target is moving.
No matter how evasive Kenshin is, he cuts cut up by
Chou's best weapon. In a desperation move, Seiku runs
towards the shrine to claim his father's last sword.
Chou tries to stop him, but Kenshin uses his broke
Sakabatou to fend off the Hakujin no Tachi. At last,
Seiku realizes that it is not swords who will make
the era, but man. Once Seiku has retrieved the sword,
he tosses it, still in its sheath, towards Kenshin.
Kenshin catches it, but refuses to unsheathe it, fearing
that if he'll use it, he might kill Chou and return
to the life as the Hitokiri Battousai. |
|
As
Kenshin stands still overlooking the sword, Chou
threatens to kill Iori, if the Battousai has forgotten
to kill. With that said, Chou has buried himself
in a grave. Kenshin draws the sword, unaware what
it is, and hits Chou with a technique he calls the
Ryu Kan Sen Tsumuji. The force from the attack was
so powerful that it completely knocked Chou off
of his feet. However, it looks like Chou is dead.
The answer isn't confirmed until Kenshin's eyes
change back from the Battousai to the rurouni. It
is found out that Shatku's last sword was actually
a Sakabatou. While Chou struggles to breath, a message
is found with the sword from Shatku, explaining
that he made his final sword for his grandson and
a peaceful era.

Neither
Kenshin nor Kaoru sees each other...
|
Shinuchi is the name
of Kenshin's new Sakabatou. He takes it and Hiko's
address when he leaves the Aoiya. With Iori safe with
his parents and Chou behind bars, Kenshin ventures
off to have a reunion with his master. Misao is the
only one that objects to Kenshin's departure, but
of course, Kenshin can't get anyone but himself involved.
Stubbornly, Misao runs out after Kenshin through the
busy streets of Kyoto. In an instant, Kenshin passes
by Kaoru and Yahiko, while Misao passes by Aoshi;
both parties not noticing each other. Kaoru and Yahiko
were after Aoshi after spotting him, but it looks
like their game of catch is interrupted when Misao
collides into Yahiko. The two begin to argue and it
is Misao who is more angry as she curses Kenshin.
Just by mentioning his name, Kaoru kneels down with
hope in her eyes, asking Misao if she knows Kenshin. |
