Hasn't Run Out Yet! Warrior Spirit Revived Again.
|
The
battle that was Kenshin versus Shishio has turned
into Aoshi versus Shishio. Fighting for an unknown
reason, Aoshi battles with Shishio using all of
his strength and best techniques. Hoji and Yumi
remain confused on why Aoshi is pushing himself
to the limit. They wonder if it's because he is
still trying to fight for the title of the strongest
or if he's simply backing up Kenshin. Shishio understands
once bringing Aoshi to the ground; Aoshi was just
stalling for the Battousai. The real battle has
begun. To everyone's surprise, Kenshin gets to his
feet. A gust of wind blows by a bunch of leaves
that react to Kenshin's warrior spirit. Also reacting
to Kenshin's warrior spirit are Saitou and Sano,
who become conscious as well.

Fifteen
minutes have passed.
|
Shishio compliments
Kenshin for pushing his limits, liking the challenge
he's getting out of him. However, for Shishio, there's
one problem. Yumi warns Hoji that fifteen minutes
have passed by. Shishio's doctor said he could only
fight for fifteen minutes, otherwise he will suffer
severe pain when he sweats or emits heat because of
his burnt body. At last, Hoji understands why Shishio
had established the Juppon Gatana and made such great
plans. Hoji takes out a rifle he was hiding in his
coat and throws it away instead of using it. For Hoji,
he trusts Shishio that he will come out victorious,
fifteen minutes over or not. |

Kenshin's
deadly five hit combo on Shisho concludes.
|
After clashing with
their swords for a bit, Shishio reaches out to grab
Kenshin by the neck. Shishio plans to execute the
Guren Kaina again, but Kenshin escapes from the
attack, causing Shishio's gunpowder to explode in
his face. A five hit combination is hit by Kenshin
consisting of the Ryu Tsui Sho Sen, Ryu Kan Sen
Kogarashi, Tsumuji, and Arashi. Even with such an
amazing combo, Shishio still stands on his feet.
Shishio hits Kenshin with the Homura Dama, but it
doesn't affect him at all. Kenshin has overcome
pain with the determination of defeating Shishio.
Quickly, the Kuzu Ryu Sen is executed by Kenshin.
With just one powerful strike to the forehead, Shishio
is sent crashing into a wall.

First
a revived Kenshin and now a revived Shishio...
|
When it just looked
like Kenshin had the upperhand, the flames surrounding
the arena begin to scream. What's happening is that
the flames are reacting to Shishio's own warrior spirit
like the leaves had to Kenshin. The final stage has
begun; one technique will decide the battle. Shishio
prepares his hidden technique, Kaguzuchi. Not even
Yumi knows it, so it must be rare for Shishio to use
it. Kenshin must rely on the Ama Kakeru Ryuu no Hirameki
to win, but in the stage he's in, all watching on
wonder if the rurouni can pull off the succession
technique of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu. |
