Kamiya
Kaoru and Makimachi Misao
vs.
Honjou Kamatari
|
Right
after Yahiko's victory over Henya, this battle began.
Kaoru started off things by charging forward at
Kamatari with a bokken in hand. Kamatari had swung,
but Kaoru leapt into the air, allowing Misao to
attack head on. To Misao's surprise, Kamatari was
expecting an attack. Swinging his great scythe,
a combination of a scythe and chain, caused the
ball end to drill into Misao's gut. With Misao down
and out on a rooftop, Kamatari began his Midare
Benten, an assault with his great scythe that both
attacks and defends. All Kaoru could do was run.
However, when Misao woke up with newfound hope,
Okina had tossed her a new set of kunais. With fast
eye contact, Kaoru and Misao were able to make a
quick plan.

Even with busted
ribs, Misao executed her Kansatsu Tobi Kunai, directed
at Kamatari's scythe. It looked as though Kamatari
had blocked all of the kunais, but then Kaoru struck
the great scythe with her bokken. The powerful blow
executed from the Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu master broke
both weapons. Misao's attack had not been wasted,
as it had helped as a wedge to break off the scythe
portion, yet the fight was not yet won. Kamatari used
the two hooks on his scythe's handle to hook onto
the chain and began spinning it fast. This was Kamatari's
Benten Mawashi. Kamatari hurled the spinning chain
at Kaoru. Quickly, she ducked under, dived towards
Kamatari's left knee, broke her bokken handle on it,
and ended the battle for good. |
