 After
Sanosuke was attacked brutally by Saitou at the
Kamiya Dojo, a note was left behind, telling Kenshin
to go to a field. Kenshin did so, but it was not
Saitou he encountered, by Akamatsu. Using his chains,
Akamatsu tried to hit Kenshin. However, using his
speed, Kenshin managed to dodge all of Akamatsu's
attacks. When Akamatsu jumped in midair and somersaulted
to throw his chain back at Kenshin, the rurouni
drew his Sakabatou, cut Akamatsu's chains in half,
and knocked his opponet down to the grond. Without
his weapon, Akamatsu pleaded for Kenshin to spare
him. That Kenshin did, but as he walked away, he
was fooled, as Akamatsu had a hidden chain with
him.

Kenshin
was thrown around and choked out by Akamatsu's chains.
When his opponent finally stayed on the ground, Akamatsu
began to ponder why Kenshin is being hunted down,
figuring that the politicians want to kill him because
he might expose their pasts from the Tokugawa Era.
With that said, Kenshin opened his eyes, revealing
that he was just playing dead the whole time. In a
rage, Akamatsu flung Kenshin towards a large rock.
However, Kenshin managed to bounce off the rock instead
of being smashed into it. With his Sakabatou drawn,
Kenshin headed back towards Akamatsu at full force
and won the fight.
