Gasuke
 This
battle started off between Kaoru and the Shuei Gumi.
Kaoru had felt sorry for Yahiko and wished to pull
him out of his lifestyle of crime. Yahiko had worked
for the group to pay off a debt his late father had
with them. After a game of odd-even was played, disagreements
rose and the truth was revealed that the Shuei Gumi
was just using Yahiko all along. Kaoru took out a
few of the Shuei Gumi members, but her shinai was
cut in half by Gasuke, supposedly the strongest of
the group, and his hidden sword. |
 Kenshin
had come in at the right time to save Yahiko and Kaoru.
Gasuke, who claimed he was a Hitokiri, prepared to
execute Kenshin. With just his Sakabatou's handle,
Kenshin sent Gasuke soaring straight into the ceiling.
An agreement was made with the head of the Shuei Gumi,
Yahiko could go with Kenshin. The agreement was reached
rather quickly, due to the fact that the head was
afraid of the eyes Kenshin
possessed. |
