Himura
Kenshin
vs.
Seta Soujirou
|
The
final stage before Shishio was Soujirou. Upon Kenshin,
Sanosuke, and Yumi's arrival, Soujirou welcomed
them and mentioned that he'd have to fight like
all of the Juppon Gatana because their Aoiya takeover
operation had failed. To start things off, like
their previous fight in Shingetsu Village, both
Kenshin and Soujirou readied themselves in a Battou
Jutsu stance. When the attacks were executed, their
swords had clashed. Kenshin had skidded halfway
across the room, leaving Soujirou's blade a little
bit cracked. No matter, Soujirou just used his speed
to his advantage. His god-like Shukuchi technique
is what Soujirou used to accelerate.
|
Soujirou
became nothing more but a blur. Kenshin was able to
dodge and block Soujirou on a few occassions, but
he couldn't keep it up. At last, Kenshin resorted
to using the Kuzu Ryu Sen, which he thought was unblockable
and unavoiable. To his surprise, Soujirou evaded the
attack. With Kenshin left open, Soujirou sliced the
rurouni across the back. Following, Soujirou continued
his onslaught. A slash on Kenshin's right shoulder
was accurate, but sometime during his assault, Soujirou
began speaking of disagreement with Kenshin's ideals.
Something was holding Soujirou back from fighting
with his full potential. Soujiriou sprung forward
again with the Shukuchi, but asked for a timeout.
His sandal's lace had broke. |
As
he tied his sandal's lace, Soujirou thought back to
his dark past. Once back in battle, Soujirou was even
more faster than before. When he clashed swords with
Kenshin, Soujirou demanded to know why Kenshin didn't
protect him when he was weak. Confused and angered,
Soujirou leapt up and tried to strike Kenshin. With
his coolhead gone, Kenshin was able to avoid Soujirou's
attack. Kenshin had his blade pointed directly at
Soujirou's face when the dust settled, but he refused
to take the victory just yet. The
motto of Shishio being the world is the survival of
the fittest and the kind ideals of Kenshin ran wild
in Soujirou's mind. Soon, the boy snapped. |
Looking
back to his past, Soujirou has some regret for the
people he's killed, yet, that wouldn't stop him from
killing Kenshin. Both fighters again got into a Battou
Jutsu stance, but this time, their most powerful techniques
would be used. Kenshin's Ama Kakeru Ryuu no Hirameki
was up against Soujirou's Shun Ten Satsu. In an instant,
both men disappeared, but the one coming out on his
two feet was Kenshin. Soujirou's blade was cut off
and he was down and out. The battle had finally ended. |
