 Moving
along in Shishio's base, Saitou had volunteered
to deal with Usui, allowing Kenshin, Sanosuke, and
Yumi to move along. The first thing Saitou did was
use his Gatotsu attack. The blind Hitokiri Usui
simply blocked Saitou's attack with his rochin and
countered with his Pouken Pougyoku Hyakka Ryouran,
wounding Saitou's right hand, left shoulder, and
right leg. Abrutely, the fight was paused while
Usui told his story about how he can fight using
his Shin Gan. Saitou listens and finds the story
a complete joke. Usui claimed that he had been waiting
to kill Shishio after Shishio had blinded him, but
Saitou knows Usui is too much of a coward to do
so.

Outraged and
embarassed that Saitou had seen his true intentions,
Usui charged towards the Miburo. Again, Saitou executed
his Gatotsu, but this time, Usui held out his turtle
shell shield. Saitou had hit that. Usui's shield was
not so easy to go through as Saitou had thought. Taking
advantage of the situation, Usui stabbed Saitou in
his left thigh with the rochin. The same set of moves
were then repeated, but now, both of Saitou's legs
had been stabbed. Following, Usui got into Saitou's
face, making him unable to use the Gatotsu. To prove
Usui wrong, Saitou showed off his Zero Gatotsu, which
broke Usui's shield and drilled him onto a wall, leaving
him hanging as he died. |
