The first of the Aoiya battles was not meant to take place. When Kamatari had suddenly hinted she was a male, what originally was planned changed. Instead of Yahiko and Kaoru facing Henya, it ended up as just Yahiko. Henya was disappointed in fight "some kid", so he wanted to end the fight quickly. Using what was considered cheap, Henya flew into the air and relentlessly dropped dynamite onto Yahiko below. Only once did Henya sweep down to cut Yahiko with the blade on his hand. By time Henya was running low on dynamite, Yahiko had figured out a plan. Using the smoke from an explosion, Yahiko used a door to elevate up to a rooftop where he swatted the flyinig man down with an imitation of the Ryu Tsui Sen.
