Tae is the
owner of the Akabeko in Tokyo. She has a twin sister named
Sae who owns a restaurant that is almost identical to
the Akabeko called the Shirobeko. Because the Kenshin
Gumi frequent her place so often, she is considered a
close friend of their's. Also, Tae is the only kind enough
person in the district to allow Sanosuke to keep such
a huge tab, which never did get paid off.
