Jin'e charges forward at
Kenshin, only to be stopped by the fearsome ki given off
by the Battousai. Kenshin swears he'll kill Jin'e if he
doesn't release Kaoru from his technique. That cannot
be done, as Jin'e says. There are only two ways that it
can be broken: either Kaoru breaks it herself or Kenshin
kills Jin'e. Jin'e claims that both are impossible. Looking
at his sword as if it was a mirror and using the Shin
no Ippou on it, Jin'e hypnotizes himself, causing his
strength to increase. That won't stop Kenshin, however.
He prepares his infamous stance that earned him the nickname
Hitokiri Battousai, the Battou Jutsu.
Everything happens so quickly.
Kenshin executes the Battou Jutsu as Jin'e charges forward.
Jin'e nearly gets hit, but somehow avoids the Sakabatou.
When it looks as though Jin'e has the upper hand, Kenshin
surprises his opponent by hitting him with his scabbard.
The results are gruesome from the technique Kenshin calls
the Sou Ryu Sen. Jin'e's elbow is broken and his tendon
is severed. No longer can Jin'e use a sword properly.
The only thing left to do for Kenshin, as he raises his
Sakabatou, now reversed, is to kill Jin'e.
