Kenshin hesitates to draw
his sword. First, he would like to know who his opponent
is taking revenge for. Otowa answers that his friend was
a good man and they would go out at night to see who could
kill the most people. With that said, Kenshin readies
himself in a Battou Jutsu stance, but an arrow is shot
out from Otowa's sleeve when he raises and holds out his
left hand, marked with a strange, glowing symbol and possessing
an unusual sound. Quickly, Kenshin catches the arrow by
its shaft. In just a matter of seconds, Otowa's Baika
Chuuzen was defeated. Otowa introduces himself to Kenshin,
mentioning that he has even more concealed weapons, but
will wait until it's time for Jinchuu. After he retrieves
his sword holding down Chief Uramura's hand, Otowa tosses
a pair of cubes into a pond behind Kenshin. A strange
gas begins spreading around the area. Otowa uses the time
while Kenshin is paralyzed from his Kasui Busuen to escape.
At the Maekawa Dojo, Inui's
tekkou is somewhat damaged from Sanosuke's Futae no Kiwami.
Sanosuke prepares to finish Inui with another Futae no
Kiwami, but as his fist draws closer to its target, it
bursts open with blood. While Sanosuke howls in pain,
back-up police officers finally arrive. They fire their
guns at Inui, but the rain of bullets are simply blocked
with the tekkou. Iwanbou bursts onto the scene, taking
the reinforced policemen out. Gein pops up from his creation
and tells Inui to retreat, as it is time for Jinchuu.
