The day of the
battle has finally arrived. Kenshin, Kaoru,
Yahiko, Sanosuke, and Megumi all await Enishi
and his comrades at the Kamiya Dojo. When night
falls upon Tokyo, a small snack is enjoyed,
but not for long. Explosions are heard in the
sky. Everyone's a bit jumpy, so they quickly
look up. Fireworks is all they see. In the summer,
it's not unusual to see the night sky light
up with colors aplenty, though, something is
wrong. What were thought to be duds turn out
to be hot-air balloons carrying the enemy.
Enishi, Gein,
Kujiranami, Inui, Otowa, and Yatsume float over
the Kamiya Dojo like vultures waiting to swoop
down at their prey. Kujiranami jumps the gun
and leaps out of his balloon. He positions his
Armstrong cannon towards the ground, screaming
Battousai's name. Kenshin acts swiftly. Using
the power of Sanosuke's right fist, Kenshin
leaps into the air to meet with the one-armed
man.
