Enishi's Lapse

As Gein heads off to board the ferry headed for Tokyo, he meets up with a short Chinese man and his four bodyguards. Wu Hei Shin, the organization's number two, introduces himself to the masked man he's heard so much of, along with his four bodyguards, the Four Stars. Gein extends his hand out at Hei Shin, but the four large men get in his way. Hei Shin apologizes for the fact that the Four Stars won't let anyone touch him in any way. Gein understands and puts his hand back down. With that cleared up, Hei Shin asks Gein if he's seen Enishi. The masked man refers him to the mansion on the cliff. Hei Shin thanks Gein and the two parties head their separate ways.

When Enishi and Hei Shin meet up, the first thing Hei Shin asks is if Enishi has forgotten his promise. Enishi had never forgotten it, the promise of giving the entire organization over to Hei Shin once his revenge was concluded. Hei Shin had just arrived in Tokyo from Shanghai the other day. After hearing word that Enishi had nearly finished his personal matters, he made his way over to Japan, even with the police being so active. Before excusing himself, Hei Shin asks Enishi if there's anything else he'd like. Enishi brings up Gein's name, but Hei Shin says that everything's been taken care of.

With a broom handle in hand, Kaoru makes her way to the balcony where Enishi rests in a chair by himself. Her plan is to take him hostage, so that way, she has a pretty good chance of forcing the ferry to let her off in Tokyo. Enishi, who's thinking of Tomoe again, suddenly snaps when he doesn't see a smile upon his beloved sister's face. Kaoru charges in at a bad time. Enishi spots her out of the corner of his eye, then thrusts his hand forward and clutches it around Kaoru's throat. He thinks that Tomoe isn't happy because Kaoru is still alive. Enishi tries to choke his victim to death, but then lets go and falls to his knees in tears. Kaoru finally realizes that Enishi's body is preventing him from killing her, because in every young woman, he sees the image of his sister.

Early in the morning, near the Arakawa rivermouth, and in the ferry stands Gein amongst a pile of defeated men. Enishi and Hei Shin had organized that Gein be disposed of before he leaks out any secrets, but they had obviously underestimated him, thinking that the puppet master is not as strong as his puppets.
