Kujiranami fires, blowing
Yahiko and the lost child up and away. The one-armed
man targets the two while they are hanging in midair,
but the policemen all surround him in hopes of ceasing
his fire. With ease, Kujiranami swipes all of the
officers away with his massive hand, then lets loose.
However, when the smoke settles, it is seen that the
boy is perfectly fine, and that Yahiko took all of
the damage.
Not too hurt from nearly
getting blown up, Yahiko commends the young boy on
his bravery, as he did not scream once when the shots
were fired. He tells the kid to leave the scene as
soon as he gives the signal, because most likely,
his father is searching for him too. With a look of
determination and courage in his eyes, Yahiko vows
to defeat his opponent. Kujiranami looks at Yahiko
and sees an image of Kenshin. Seeing Battousai causes
him to break. As soon as Kujiranami extends his grenade
launcher, Yahiko tells the boy to run. This time,
the police officers leap on Kujiranami's equipped
arm, forcing a distraction upon him while the kid
rushes away from the scene. It takes some time, but
Kujiranami shakes the officers off eventually. Yahiko
steps up to the one-armed man, making it clear that
he will do whatever he can to prevent him from interrupting
Kenshin's fight with himself. A showdown it is between
the young Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu student and the one-armed
man trapped in a state of madness.
The townspeople watching
from afar are concerned with what's going on after
hearing so many explosions and seeing so many smoke.
Tsubame is the one who's most worried; she thinks
Yahiko's going to die. The first thing that comes
to her mind is saving him. Although she can't, she
knows of someone who can - Kenshin.
