Tsubame explains
the situation to Kenshin clearly, but there
is no sign that the rurouni will get up and
do anything to save Yahiko. He remains in his
position, head faced towards the ground. Oibore
appears out of the blue and puts his hand on
Tsubame's shoulder, asking Kuma to escort her
out, for she is shedding too many tears.
Once Kenshin
and Oibore are left alone, the old man tells
the rurouni something about the Rakuninmura.
The place is only for those who have given up
and thrown away everything. They accept all
sorts of people, but there are those who cannot
forget the things they've abandoned. Those people
should not think about settling down so soon.
For once, Kenshin speaks, angrily saying he
has yet to find the answer to atone for his
crimes. Oibore calms Kenshin down by pointing
out something, the Sakabatou wrapped in chains
that has been clutched in his hands the entire
time. Kenshin thinks back and remembers how
he kept saying he wanted to protect those in
need. Once Kenshin realizes that he has been
holding the answer to all of his problems all
along, Oibore covers the bottle filled with
the white plum fragrance.
With his mind
cleared and answer learned, Kenshin gets to
his feet and unsheathes the Sakabatou, breaking
it out of its shackles. He sets off, leaving
the Rakuninmura to answer the call for help
like he always had done before.
