Enishi
has returned to full strength, but is
told by Hei Shin that their base at the
Arakawa River was busted and Kujiranami's
rampage was stopped by a man bearing a
cross scar on his left cheek. Furious
to learn that Kenshin is revitalized,
Enishi vows right in front of Kaoru to
send the rurouni straight to Hell, for
it is the only way he thinks will make
his sister smile once again.
It's been
three days since Kenshin returned to reality,
and he's been sleeping at the Oguni Clinic
alongside Yahiko for the entire time.
Saitou tells those who are awake, Aoshi,
Misao, and Megumi, that an elite task
force from the police station will be
heading over to Enishi's hideaway island
in four days. He invites those who wish
to come, but says that he and the task
force will just leave if no one shows
up on that day. Really, Saitou has no
intention to go with a man who keeps returning
from the point where he started over and
over again. All everyone can do is hope
for Kenshin to be re-energized within
four days. What's also on Megumi's mind
is the one person they are missing from
the group, the one person who has yet
to return - Sanosuke.
In Shinshuu,
a large man is pestering a young girl
in the middle of the busy streets, but
sounds of crashing and smashing are heard
from inside a nearby restaurant. Out of
the restaurant's door flies a beaten yakuza
member. Following him is his rowdy attacker,
Sanosuke himself.
