Aoshi continues to dish
out attacks and Suzaku keeps on countering with the
same. The Onmyou Hasshi and even the Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren
are defeated. Suzaku thinks that his moves are better
than the original, simply because students of martial
arts perfect techniques they learned from their superior,
so for some students, their technique is far better
than their master's.
Suzaku tests Aoshi to
see if he can keep up himself. Eventually, Aoshi's twin
kodachis fly out of his hands, but that doesn't stop
him from attacking like Suzaku had expected. Aoshi hits
his opponent with a stiff kick to the face, utilizing
his kenpo. In rage, Suzaku charges forward, thinking
that a sword can easily defeat a fist any day. When
Suzaku strikes down, Aoshi catches one of his opponent's
swords with his bare hand and breaks it. What Suzaku
didn't remember was that he was using the Kodachi Nitou
Ryuu, which of course, Aoshi is very familiar with.
Byakko, the all out attacker
of the Four Gods, beats on Sanosuke with a barrage of
various punches. When he takes the time to boast about
his strategy, Sanosuke gives him a swift uppercut and
demands to get hit with a big blow.
