Enishi
unleashes the Nerves of Insanity. With
it, his reflexes including strength and
speed are increased. Kenshin can't even
see Enishi's movements; he is surprised
to evade an attack from behind. Yet, Enishi's
speed is far too fast for Kenshin's weary
eyes. Enishi tries to slit Kenshin's throat
from behind, but the rurouni blocks just
in the nick of time. After explaining
that the nerves are a gift from his sister,
generated and fueled by his hatred, Enishi
throws some sand in Kenshin's eyes and
assaults him with his bare hands. Following
one swift kick to his nemesis' face, Enishi
grabs Kenshin by the hair and tosses him
into the sea.
Sanosuke
and Aoshi can't stand back and let Kenshin
die before their eyes. They plan to interfere
in the fight, but Yahiko holds them back,
reminding them that it is still Kenshin's
fight to the very end. Kenshin rises out
of the salty water. He thanks the two
for their concern, but promises to win
even against the odds. Enishi springs
into the air to a great height and approaches
the ground with the Shikku Tou Sei. Even
when up fighting against a godlike enhancement
like the Nerves of Insanity, the Hiten
Mitsurugi Ryuu knows no boundaries. Kenshin
prepares to execute a new, never before
seen technique, Ryu Mei Sen.
