Before the outcome of the
battle is decided, Enishi asks Kenshin if Tomoe is smiling
for him. Kenshin replies that he doesn't know, nor cares.
The smile of her's he saw the last time was enough. The
only smiles he cares about now are those of his loved
ones and friends. From now on, the past is the past in
Kenshin's mind. Enishi grows furious. He swears that he'll
take his sister's smile away from Kenshin if he no longer
needs it, then charges into battle.
The Ama Kakeru Ryuu no
Hirameki and Ko Fuku Zet Tou Sei collide. However, unlike
last time, the Ama Kakeru Ryuu no Hirameki is much more
powerful due to Kenshin finding the answer he was searching
form. The Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu succession technique generates
a vacuum. Enishi knows that he can win as long as his
sister is smiling for him, but when he looks at his vision
of Tomoe, her expression is still unchanged. The shock
of seeing his own sister not support him causes Enishi
to lose the grip on his tachi, leaving it only to be shattered
in the vortex of the Ama Kakeru Ryuu no Hirameki.
