About Bleach

Bleach, created by Tite Kubo, has quickly become one of the most popular shonen series to date. The main character, Kurosaki Ichigo, has the ability to see ghosts. His life changes when he is given the powers of Rukia, a death god who is charge of sending lost souls to the afterlife. Bleach has been licensed by Viz Media and is a must buy for any fan of the series. I've never seen a series become as popular as fast as Bleach has become. Hoards of fans quickly fell in love with this series after watching the popular anime series, but then quickly demanded the manga as they were bombarded with filler episodes. Bleach is hands down one of the most popular series today, possibly even beating Naruto.

Bleach has been reviewed and has received a respectable score. However, that score is low compared to how many fans feel it should be. Bleach starts off at a poor pace without any major story and that is why our review was lowered. However, if you make it past the first 40 chapters or so, you'll find that the series really begins to pick up the pace and develop a story that is much deeper than most shonen series. The artwork improves as the story does so if you're not a fan after a few volumes, hang in there because it gets much better!

Manga Scan Information

The manga scans you will find on this site are ones created by fans. They are not scanned versions of the licensed English versions. On the topic of licensed manga series, I do host licensed series unlike many sites that take down manga scans when they get licensed. I feel that showcasing the series actually helps in sales. I usually do not host entire series (usually just the beginning or latter volumes) so people tend to purchase the actual graphic novels when they find out how good they are. As for the fansubbed manga scans, they are created by manga scanlation groups. You can get a full list of groups over at Manga Jouhou. These groups create these fansubs for the fans - I simply distribute them online. Within each series you will certainly see information pertaining to the groups that created the manga scans. Please support the groups by visiting their web site or mIRC channel.
