About Buni

Buni is one of the funniest and most interesting web comics I have seen. Going back to my youth I remember being mesmerized by Matt Groening's comic "Life in Hell," which wasn't your typical shallow newspaper comic. It explored many real world topics, most of which I didn't think you could actually publish about because I've never seen it done before. It was simply a masterpiece and though Groening will forever be famous for The Simpsons, I'll be remember him for Life in Hell because it made me realize how funny and interesting a comic could be.

Now come full circle to the age of the Internet where anyone with MS Paint can publish a web comic and you'll be hard pressed to find any with much depth. That is until I discovered Ryan Pagelow's creation, Buni. It's a multi dimensional comic that can say so much without actually using words. It's my new favorite comic, and with Ryan's permission, I'm really glad to showcase it here!

Buni is a dark comic about an optimistic bunny with terrible luck. Always positive, Buni doesn’t understand that the cute world he lives in is really out to get him, whether it’s at the hands of mafia teddy bears, garden gnomes or zombies.

Amateur Manga

Manga Scan Information

The manga scans you will find on this site are ones created by fans. They are not scanned versions of the licensed English versions. On the topic of licensed manga series, I do host licensed series unlike many sites that take down manga scans when they get licensed. I feel that showcasing the series actually helps in sales. I usually do not host entire series (usually just the beginning or latter volumes) so people tend to purchase the actual graphic novels when they find out how good they are. As for the fansubbed manga scans, they are created by manga scanlation groups. You can get a full list of groups over at Manga Updates. These groups create these fansubs for the fans - I simply distribute them online. Within each series you will certainly see information pertaining to the groups that created the manga scans. Please support the groups by visiting their web site or mIRC channel.
