About Naruto

Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto, is about a world of ninjas. The main character, Uzumaki Naruto, has a demon sealed inside of him, which gives him strong powers. Naruto is an entertaining shonen series with a focus on fighting. I have my opinions about Naruto, but at the end of the day I can't deny that it is an entertaining series. People looking for a deep well-developed plot might be sickened by Naruto's shallow tournament-type feel, but what more can you ask for from a series about ninjas? Naruto has been licensed by Viz Media and is a must buy for any fan of the series. There hasn't been a more popular series that Naruto in the past decade! And for good reason; Naruto uses the tried and true formula of all great shonen series, such as Dragon Ball, to take its viewers on one hell of a ride! There isn't a single volume that isn't action packed, making its manga a great purchase.

One of the greatest achievements that Naruto does is get people who aren't even anime fans into Japanese anime. I've seen this first hand where people who think anime is just for kids start watching Naruto and they get hooked right away. That alone says a lot about how good this series really is. Sure there are better more interesting series out there, but when you want pure fighting action, Naruto is the way to go. The world of Naruto is filled with some of the most action-packed fights the world of anime has ever seen.

Manga Scan Information

The manga scans you will find on this site are ones created by fans. They are not scanned versions of the licensed English versions. On the topic of licensed manga series, I do host licensed series unlike many sites that take down manga scans when they get licensed. I feel that showcasing the series actually helps in sales. I usually do not host entire series (usually just the beginning or latter volumes) so people tend to purchase the actual graphic novels when they find out how good they are. As for the fansubbed manga scans, they are created by manga scanlation groups. You can get a full list of groups over at Manga Updates. These groups create these fansubs for the fans - I simply distribute them online. Within each series you will certainly see information pertaining to the groups that created the manga scans.
