One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda, tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy and his amazing journey to become the world's greatest pirate. Amazing might just be an understatement when describing how big Luffy's journey is! This series covers so much
ground and is just a joy to view all the way through. To put things in perspective on how long this series is, it is over 40 volumes long with no end in sight!

and would be a great addition to every manga fan's collection. You may have heard that the English adaptation has changed the name Zoro to Zolo, and yes
that, for lack of a better term, really sucks. But don't let that detract you from owning this great series! Luffy's adventure is so grand and memorable that I would recommend everyone to purchase it.
One Piece is one of those series that is in a league of its own in my books. It does everything right and excels at things other series fail at. It has the perfect blend of characters with unique personalities. It tells a great imaginative story
in each volume with very little filler. Even when One Piece does take a chapter to relax, the "filler" is still as good as anything out there! This is one series that always impresses me and you shouldn't hesitate to purchase it.
I was actually first a fan of the anime series but I've found the manga does a better job at story pacing than the anime. So be sure to support the official release and buy One Piece manga!

Manga Scan Information
The manga scans you will find on this site are ones created by fans. They are not scanned versions of the licensed English versions. On the topic of licensed manga series, I do host licensed series unlike many sites that take down manga scans when they get licensed.
I feel that showcasing the series actually helps in sales. I usually do not host entire series (usually just the beginning or latter volumes) so people tend to purchase the actual graphic novels when they find out how good they are.
As for the fansubbed manga scans, they are created by manga scanlation groups. You can get a full list of groups over at Manga Jouhou. These groups create these fansubs for the fans - I simply distribute
them online. Within each series you will certainly see information pertaining to the groups that created the manga scans. Please support the groups by visiting their web site or mIRC channel.
