Street Fighter Comic Scans

Street Fighter, to me, is one of those franchises that I feel should be a lot more popular than it currently is. Sure there are the hundreds attending EVO, one of the biggest Street Fighter based fighting conventions, but that's not good enough. I mean come on, it's the Street Fighter. Ridiculously popular series like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh should not be more wide spread than Street Fighter in my opinion. Unfortunately when people think of Street Fighter they now think of a great 2-D franchise "back in the day". The newer fighting games like Street Fighter III and Capcom vs SNK 2 simply aren't as popular to the mainstream crowd as the legendary Street Fighter 2 was. How many 8 years olds can do a Hadouken nowadays? None, that's how many! That almost brings tears to me eyes. I vowed when I first began creating web sites that I would somehow, someway spread the popularity of this awesome franchise. And so without further ado, I bring you Street Fighter Comic scans.

UDON Entertainment has packaged the Street Fighter Comics all in one book, which is simply a must-buy. I've taken down these scans because there is no need for them.

If you have caught a glimpse of the Street Fighter Comic you probably thought to yourself "wow" or "awesome". Everyone I've shown the comics to (the actual comics, not these scans) were impressed with the beautiful artwork. I admit I haven't seen every single anime/manga/comic that has the name Street Fighter, but I feel it's safe to say that the Street Fighter Comic has the best artwork out of all of them. I'm a big fan of the artwork that Capcom creates for the Street Fighter series, but I honestly think that the ones found in this comic look better! I love the style of the artwork, the emotion and action in each panel, and especially the fine coloring/detail in the artwork. If you feel how I feel then you owe it to yourself to buy the actual comics.

Unfortunately buying the comic might not be so easy. Some comic stores carry but your best bet is probably purchasing it online. Finding the individual comics were difficult, but now UDON has packaged it all up in one Street Fighter: The Ultimate Edition book. It's a must-buy for all Street Fighter fans!
